Winding up with a flat or damaged tire can really ruin your day. That’s why we want you taken care of and back on the road as quickly and efficiently as possible. But what are you supposed to do if you’re driving a Tesla model electric vehicle and need your tires replaced?
At Elite Towing & Transport, we have a variety of loaner wheels from our local Telsa Dealerships to save you time and headaches. Our inventory is checked weekly and new tires are picked up and swapped out to ensure we can accommodate your needs. If your Tesla is stuck with a flat or damaged tire, don’t hesitate to call Elite Towing.
While standard tires can be put on a Tesla, there are a handful of reasons that we highly suggest using Tesla-approved tires for your Tesla – regardless of model. Telsa approved tires are designed to deliver a smooth ride and the necessary grip and traction for top performance. Unlike a standard car tire, Tesla tires are designed with a noise-cancelling acoustical foam layer which provides a quieter ride… and they have more robust sidewalls to counteract the additional weight of electric vehicles due to the heavy battery packs. Using a standard tire instead of a Tesla tire (T0, T1, T2) can mean needing to change out your tires much sooner and more frequently due to wear and tear.
If you have a flat or a damaged tire that needs replacement, our team will swap your damaged tire with a loaner tire that matches your car. We can then keep your tire to get it repaired or drop it off at the local Tesla dealership on your behalf. This way, we can get you back on the road fast while your tire is off getting repaired.
Whether you’re stuck on the side of the road, the parking lot at work, woke up to find your car with a flat tire in your driveway, or anywhere in between… contact Elite Towing & Transport and we’ll get you back on the road as quickly as possible.
